My project was matching the animals in the story to whom they represent from the Russian Revolution, and putting them in a slideshow (along with some self-composed music) to show the irony of how people can act like animals (or vice versa). The text is hard to read I think, so I am listing the animals and their represented characters down below.
- Farmer Jones = Tsar Nicolas II
- Pilkington and Foxwood = Leaders (Or influential people, or people of higher stature) of other countries (England and Germany, I thought)
- Napoleon = Stalin
- Snowball = Trotsky
- Mollie = Unfaithful Russians (Or Independent Russians, or Russian people who did not agree or didn't care about communist ideas)
- The Dogs = KGB (Secret Police)
- Sheep = Citizens of Russia in large masses or crowds
- Benjamin and Muriel = Literate, wise citizens. Maybe elderly or old ones
- Squealer = The Russian Media, or a propagandist
- Major = Marx
- Boxer (and Clover) = Working class of Russia
